Hello, I’m Catherine McInroe. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of experience supporting adults through life’s most vulnerable transitions. My clinical focus is on women’s mental health, including fertility challenges, perinatal mood disorders, and hormonal transitions such as perimenopause. I also work extensively with trauma survivors and individuals navigating substance use recovery. I strive to create a warm, relational space where clients feel empowered to explore their stories, gain insight, and reclaim emotional strength. My work is grounded in compassion, practical strategies, and a belief in the healing power of connection.

What can members expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our sessions, you’ll find a collaborative, strength-based approach. We’ll start with your goals, explore what’s working and what’s holding you back, and build a plan that feels supportive and empowering. Whether you’re seeking clarity in a major life transition, rebuilding after trauma, or stepping into recovery from substance use, I’ll meet you where you are with compassion and clinical expertise. I also offer surgical clearance evaluations and pain management support, drawing from my background in hospital-based social work. These services are available with quick turnaround for provider collaboration when needed.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths?

My biggest strengths lie in my ability to listen and understand, create a non-judgmental space for healing, and provide thoughtful, trauma-informed care. I’m highly experienced in treating anxiety, helping clients manage overwhelming thoughts and feelings in a practical, calming way. I am also particularly skilled at working with clients who are navigating chronic pain and complex health conditions, understanding the emotional and physical toll these experiences can take.  Additionally, I am patient, steady, and able to offer support in a way that helps clients feel heard and validated—no matter where they are in their journey.
